How to Apply for Tuition Assistance
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is a third-party entity that conducts the financial need analysis for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia/BLOCS and St. James Regional Catholic School. Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by March to receive aid for the following school year. Financial Aid decisions are determined during the summer. The application fee is $30. Only families with a FACTS Grant & Aid account will be considered for financial aid.
Applicants can apply online by clicking the box below. You will be given the option of selecting a school at the beginning of the application process; you will not need a school number.
Once you complete an online application, you will need to send copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules. All supporting documentation must be uploaded in PDF format. FACTS will contact those families that do not file a tax return to what documents are needed to complete the application.

To be considered for any tuition assistance, a family must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment explained in the above section.
BLOCS Scholarship BLOCS (Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools) is the premier needs-based scholarship organization in the Philadelphia region providing students with a high degree of success in Catholic schools. The BLOCS application enrollment period for students Pre-K through 8th grade for the 2020/2021 school year is now open.
BLOCS Scholarships are need-based and income qualifications apply. Families with one dependent must have an annual income of less than $92,160 + $16,222 for a total of $108,382 to qualify. For each additional dependent, you can make an additional $16,222 per child.
Once you complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment application above, you will automatically be considered for a BLOCS Scholarship.
Henkels Foundation Scholarship The Henkels Foundation provides need-based scholarships. These scholarships are only for families that qualify for Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit grants ("OSTC"). In order to receive an OSTC grant, students must:
live within the attendance boundaries of a low-achieving school as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
be a member of a household with an annual household income of no more than $92,160, For each additional dependent, you can make an additional $16,222 per child.
