Mrs. Shemeluk is a caring and patient early educator who has the privilege of welcoming our youngest bulldogs to St. James Regional. She brings a decade of experience to creating a loving classroom environment for students who are just beginning their educational journey. Each day Mrs. Shemeluk endeavors to build a classroom community where each student feels secure, while creating opportunities for every student to learn and explore. Understanding just how special the Prek years are for families, she constructs lesson plans that foster the creativity and independence of her students.
As a young person, Mrs. Shemeluk attended St. Barnabas Catholic School and Interboro High School. She went on to earn her B.A. in Early Childhood Education/Elementary/Special Education from Neumann University. Mrs. Shemeluk treasures her own Catholic education and is grateful for the opportunity to continue that tradition here at St James Regional where she has taught since 2014.
In her free time, Mrs. Shemeluk enjoys both playing sports and watching sports. She is also the proud mother to her own elementary student-- son, Brayden.
