Mr. Kane has for the last 8 years, as a teacher, delivered rigorous and relevant content to his middle school students at St. James Regional. Over the course of his thirty-five year career, Mr. Kane has taught various subjects and grades, as well as served as both a classroom teacher and a school administrator. He currently teaches 6th grade homeroom and middle school science where he regularly collaborates with his colleagues across disciplines to develop meaningful STREAM lessons.
A graduate of St. Joseph’s University (B.S. in Sociology), and Villanova University (M.A. Education), Mr. Kane knows that a Catholic education can be a transformative experience for young people. His educational philosophy is uncomplicated. Mr. Kane meets his middle school students where they are and provides them with opportunities to grow in faith and knowledge.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Kane serves as the faculty liaison to the Home & School Association and moderates the Peer Study Group. He is an avid reader and a staunch advocate for persons with disabilities. Mr. Kane is a dedicated husband of 35 years and the proud father of two adult children.
