October is Fire Prevention Safety month! St. James Regional partnered with our friends from the Ridley Park Fire Department to help our students learn about fire safety throughout the week of October 2nd! Our PreK friends had a visit from the Department's  ladder truck and staff who talked to our students about fire safety and what firefighters do to keep people safe. Our kindergarten through 2nd students took a field trip to the Department's fire house where they were able to learn about fire safety, see a fire truck up close, and even get to use the fire hose!
