This week we are putting the spotlight on Mrs. Denise Robinson, our C.A.R.E.S. director here at St. James Regional Catholic School. She has worked at C.A.R.E.S since 2005. C.A.R.E.S. is the extended care program that offers before and after care to students.
Prior to entering the educational field, Mrs. Robinson owned a deli with lunch trucks, offering customers the ability to come to her, or for her to go to them.
Mrs. Robinson would not call herself a world traveler, but she does enjoy traveling to fun places here in the United States. She looks forward to returning to Disney World with her family once it becomes safer to do so in our current COVID world.
Mrs. Robinson’s favorite movie is Jaws. She can still remember waiting in line at the MacDace Mall to see it.
This summer, she is looking forward to spending time in the mountains with her family. She wanted a change of scenery from a summer down the shore.
Her most memorable moment at St. James is when she was awarded the Heart & Soul of St. James award in 2018. Her favorite part about her job here is the students, and especially when they remember her years later.
Thank you for all you do Mrs. Robinson!
