Miss Kristen McCarthy teaches 7th grade at St. James Regional Catholic elementary school. This is her first year at St. James, while she has been in the education field since 2015. 

At St. James Regional Catholic School, Miss McCarthy loves how welcoming, accommodating and friendly her fellow staff are to one another. Since this is her first year with us, she is very grateful for all the ways her co-workers have helped her out. Her students are also among her favorite aspects about St. James! They bring a smile to her face everyday.

Outside of the classroom, Miss McCarthy enjoys reading as well as crime shows (such as Criminal Minds and Law and Order: SVU). One day, she hopes to travel to Hawaii. 

Miss McCarthy describes herself as loud, funny and kind. We look forward to many years with Miss McCarthy within the St. James family.
