St. James Regional's Student Council trains future community leaders! Student Council allows participants to develop leadership skills, the chance to plan and implement service and charity events, and plan fun events and activities for their peers. Examples of activies that Student Council plans are the Monster Mash Halloween party for grades K-4, the Halloween Dance for grades 5-8, and other student dances throughout the year. Our Student Council raises money and awareness for various charities through dress down days in which all money collected goes towards a charity, hosts a Thanksgiving Food Drive, helps the St. James High School Alumni Association with their turkey and toy drives, and plans a Rock Your Socks for Down Syndrome day in March. Student Council members also serve as ambassadors for St. James Regional by helping with school Open Houses and providing tours for prospective students.Director: Mr. Steven Morisette Northeastern Music Programs
Band is open to students in grades 3rd through 8th. Students receive one (1) small group lesson on Tuesdays during the school day.
Play Registration and Information
CYO is a parish-based ministry and St. James Regional draws families from multiple parishes. Accordingly, St. James Regional does not have a school-affiliated CYO program, but our students participate in CYO sports through their home parishes. We are proud of our student-athletes and celebrate their athletic pursuits, as St. James students and beyond! For more information, please refer to the home parish sites below.

Come out and explore the world of theatre with the newly formed St James Drama Club! Let’s take a step behind the stage curtain at all the different roles that exist to make a play come to life!
Our Drama Club is designed for students interested in learning more about all aspects of theater. This includes learning stage terminology and working on acting skills or delving into the technical side of theatre – prop making, set building, costumes/makeup design and more! Drama Club is open to all students in 1-8 grade who want to improve communication skills, teamwork, socialize and self-confidence while having fun, exploring creativity and a love of live theatre.
