Bus Transportation

Bus transportation is provided by the school district you reside in.  Families must reach out to their school district's bus transportation department to see if they qualify for bussing.  

After you have completed your bus registration through the public school district you reside in, please complete our Bus Transportation Form HERE.  This form is for dismissal purposes only.  

Change for the remainder of the year:

• If you need to change the day(s) your child takes the bus home at dismissal for the remainder of the year, please email Mrs. Righter at erighter@stjamesregional.com

• If you have a change in dismissal that only affects that current day/week, email Mrs. Righter & your child's teacher no later than 12:00pm.  We understand that emergencies happen, and you may have to make a last minute dismissal change.  But it is imperative that all planned dismissal changes be communicated prior to 12:00pm via email.

Each school district honors a specific number of early dismissals.  Once the allotted number is reached, please plan an alternative transportation home for the remaining early dismissals.  Communicate this plan with your child(ren)'s teacher.  

Bus transportation will follow the snow closures and snow delays of their respective school districts.  They will not honor St. James Regional snow closures and snow delays.  Please reach out to them on these days.  All school districts have different policies, please familiarize yourself with your school districts policies.
