The program features the award-winning and research backed Fundations phonics program. The program is open to all rising 1st and 2nd graders. There are only 32 slots and registration will be offered first-come, first-serve basis!

Effective Monday, February 28th, the use of masks will be optional for all students and staff in suburban high schools operated by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia as well as all suburban parish and regional elementary schools. This afternoon all elementary and secondary school families and staff are receiving a joint letter from administrators of the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Education’s elementary and secondary divisions as well as Faith in the Future. St. James Regional mourns the sudden loss of faculty member Mr. Maurice Hamel. Mr. Hamel joined our faculty this year as a 7th grade teacher. Our students and faculty were blessed to have him as part of our community. This Friday's school Mass will be offered in his name. We pray for the repose of Mr. Hamel's soul and for the peace and comfort of his loved ones. Eternal rest grant unto Maurice, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace. Amen.

6th grade student Nolen Mea won first place at the Post level in the VFW’s Patriot’s Pen annual essay contest. He now advances to the District level competition! His essay answered the question “How to be a good a good American?” Each year more than 125,000 students in grades 6-8 enter the VFW’s Patriot’s Pen youth essay contest. We wish Nolen the best of luck at the next level of competition!
