St. James Regional Catholic School is committed to educating children in a loving, caring, Christ-centered environment where students are encouraged to grow spiritually as well as academically. As a school community, we strive to create a Catholic Christian community of learning where each student is uniquely valued. Through a strong parent/teacher partnership, educational opportunities and extracurricular activities, each child is encouraged to develop into his or her individual best.
The St. James Regional Catholic School was established in July of 2012. It is located on the former St. Madeline/St. Rose school site. The school currently houses approximately 330 students in Grades Pre- Kindergarten - Grade Eight. The school serves students from St. Madeline, St. Rose of Lima, Saint George and St. Gabriel parishes. The school is is located approximately 10 to 15 miles south of Philadelphia and is situated in a residential area approximately a half mile from the Ridley Park business area. The original building was constructed in 1954. Later additions to the school added office spaces and classrooms with a capacity to serve 500 students.
